sponserd things and fund rasieing is very hard work at monemt .

people don,t seem to want to come or spend if anyone has a very good idea .please can i have it .

some areas you can walk all day with posters though every door and still have no one .
So i need something your self would love to come too and enjoy .

any ideas please . Have took loveley stuff too car boots and been a no go .If every thing was 20 pence you might make it .
i can not do a raffle as we don,t belive in gambing ( most supporters would come from a church back ground so not on )
i(could be doing the raffle for the get togeter but thats a other thing .as its not church related .)


I had a non going on coffee morning here this morning but rasied £30 for Antonys schools fees and £35 for Vision Africa .baby unit .
But the support came before .Coffee morning they would rather go out .Though summer time if i do one i have people who like sitting in the garden and will come and bring cakes .( this year thats also been a no goer )

So need to something exciting and i can hire a hall for next too nothing

Tombolas are usually popular.

My children's scout group gave each child a box of smarties and asked them to return the tubes filled with twenty pences. The kids get to eat the smarties and a filled tube apparently holds £10. I can't confirm this as yet ... two tubes to fill and only about six coins in each so far

Yes the scout group did a wonderfull job last year .THEY ran for us and collected pennies let me have the hall for a coffee morning .I have got flim pots for them a hudge bag to fill .They rasied quite a lot and the founders of Vision Africa came ( they are both 79 ) And thanked every one and gave a talk .
much needed money it went too the baby unit where abanoand babies live .( some mums give birth on side off road and die so the babies go too the unit and more )

but this year they have there big Jamoee so had to fund rasie for them selfs .They also collceted football kits and scout stuff and its now in Kenya .
even if you collcet pennies you will be amazed how much you can get .

But the trouble is we need too fund rasie all the time poor us .

I don,t have to do it but do it for the children . www.vision-africa.org and i know the founders children get 98%too100% As we do Admin for free unless something has to come out of it .

yes fund rasieing is becoming harder .I am allways looking for things .
i used to try and rasie a £1,000 a year but 3 years ago that was easy now its hard .It used to be easy a cake sale coffee morning but now they are not well supported .So then i change and take a stall out too a car boot with good stuff .But its was a no go rasied £12 .50 .But its like this all over .Not the only one .
i don,t have to do it .But i do for the children .

I think it's just amazing what you are doing to help other people. As a South African myself, I can tell you that most people here in Britain can not comprehend the suffering that goes on in other parts of the world and how grateful those people are for even just the smallest bit of help.
